Hello ATA members, What a summer! I need not remind you of all the challenges, dramatic changes to our daily lives, and the political, economic, and health issues we are now in the midst of. I ask you, however, to take the time to appreciate all that our ATA family has accomplished these past few months with more to come in the future.

- A new blog presented by the Patient Affairs and Education and Internet and Social Media Communication Committees. The first blog by Vibhavasu Sharma, MD entitled Management of Hypothyroidism During Pregnancy: When and how to treat? is now live!
- The ATA Guideline on Management of Patients with Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer will soon be shared for member review. Thank you to the co-chairs, Drs. Keith C. Bible and Electron Kebebew for leading the guideline development.
- Be on the lookout for monthly ATA Career Connections virtual networking meetups for early career members. We held the first meetup on "Maintaining Connections through COVID" moderated by Aime Franco and Sara Ahmadi these meetups are a great way to support our early career members. Our next are on 8/26 and 8/28. RSVP today.
- Virtual Ridgway Conference (October 16 12 PM-5PM EDT) - Modeled after the annual in-person E. Chester Ridgway Conference and open to all who are interested in advancing their knowledge and understanding of thyroid physiology, disease, and treatment. Registration will open soon, so sign up to receive updates!
- Annual Business Meeting and the Van Meter Lecture. RSVP today to participate and find out who is delivering this year's lecture and the results of the ATA election. The first Val Galton Lectureship will be in 2021 at the Annual Meeting.
