Phone: (561) 547-9453
This intimate Zoo will take you to backwater Florida both past and present, to the tiger country of Asia, to the Australian Outback, to a Mayan village. Walk among native and exotic trees, rain forest plant life, and of course, more than 400 animals, some just moving throughout the Zoo. Located just minutes away from both Interstate 95 and downtown West Palm Beach.

Florida's Sea Turtles
From May to October it's turtle-nesting season all along the Florida coast. Female loggerhead, Kemp's ridley, and other species of turtles that live way out in the Atlantic Ocean or Gulf of Mexico swim as many as 2,000 miles to the Florida shore. They arrive in the dark of night and drag their 100- to 400-pound bodies up the beach to the dune line. Once there, they arduously dig a hole with their flippers, drop in about 100 eggs, cover up the hole, and return to sea.
