Falls Church, Virginia. June 27, 2013 – The American Thyroid Association is pleased to announce the launch of its newly redesigned website www.thyroid.org. The new site was designed with all ATA audiences in mind: members, health care professionals and thyroid patients. The site is more graphically based to provide visually pleasing and easily understandable navigation. Site visitors can readily locate information they seek as well as discover additional educational materials.
The extensive resources offered by the ATA make www.thyroid.org an in-depth compendium of useful and necessary thyroid health information. Links to ATA publications, events, and CME, physician referral and our vast library of patient brochures and information are evident on the homepage. The new and engaging slide image also provides access to key organization information. Social media buttons make the site easily shared with colleagues, family and friends.
Web partner Webworld Technologies of Springfield, Virginia advised the ATA in the latest website design and navigation as well as creating the quick and concise access to ATA’s resources and education. The technological process of website conversion to a content management system and the redesign, including conversion of 2500 pages to 780 pages over 2 years has culminated in the latest in models which will be translatable to smart phones, tablets and laptops.
